This light and airy room along with the limed oak flooring was the inspiration for this beautiful yet practical kitchen. In a Shaker style with beaded frame detail, the majority of the cabinets are hand-painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Dimity’ and include tall larder cupboards and built-in appliances. The island is in oak to complement the floor and features pull-out wicker vegetable baskets. The client chose Arenastone ‘Crema Sasso’ worktops for durability, in a ‘leather’ finish, along with under-mounted white ceramic sinks. The bespoke cast brass handles, specially made by Ged Kennett Contemporary Metals, give this kitchen an extra dimension.
