This light and airy room along with the limed oak flooring was the inspiration for this beautiful yet practical kitchen. In a Shaker style with beaded frame detail, the majority of the cabinets are hand-painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Dimity’ and include tall larder cupboards and built-in appliances. The island is in oak to complement the floor and features pull-out wicker vegetable baskets. The client chose Arenastone ‘Crema Sasso’ worktops for durability, in a ‘leather’ finish, along with under-mounted white ceramic sinks. The bespoke cast brass handles, specially made by Ged Kennett Contemporary Metals, give this kitchen an extra dimension. Sussex Heritage Trust recognised this renovation for an Highly Commended award. We are very proud to have been associated with the whole project.
