The owner of this fresh kitchen wanted to bring the seaside into her home. The Shaker style cabinetry is painted in Little Greene Paint Company’s “Lead Colour” in a matt enamel finish, with a statement, abstract printed backsplash running along both sides of the kitchen. The Stoneworld of London quartz worktop in “Starlight White” is reminiscent of bright sandy beaches, and the client’s large farmhouse table gives the kitchen a rustic feel. The warm-white LED under-cupboard lighting highlights the worktop and splashback, and gives optimum lighting for tasking in a well-used kitchen. The tall Neff double oven saves cupboard and drawer space under the induction hob, to allow for the handy spice drawer and pan drawers right where they are needed. The two Insinkerator taps – one 3-in-1 hot tap and another mixer tap – make this a highly efficient kitchen despite the width.
