This kitchen has everything you need for an efficient and aesthetically pleasing workspace. We included a large larder, magic-corner, and breakfast cupboards in the design along with a built-in microwave and integrated appliances to maximise worktop space and create a clean, spacious feel. The kitchen truly is the heart of this home, room for stools in the island allows the client to be sociable while cooking. The statement island is painted in Little Greene Paint Company’s “Furrow”, all other cabinetry is painted in “Mortar”, both colours enhance the range of earthy tones in the flooring and add contrast to the room. The worktops are crafted in Arenastone’s “Bianco Fantasia”, a striking white quartz with delicate organic grey veining which are brought out by the dark mushroom hue of “Furrow”. The client chose a multifunctional Perrin & Rowe “Metis” tap which offers hot, cold and filtered water, with a spray attachment. The cupboards and drawers are fitted with Crofts & Assinder “Monmouth” cup pulls and knobs in brushed nickel. The doors are handmade in a shaker style with beaded frames, topped with a traditional decorative cornice.
